Warranty Policy

JoyBend products come with a 1-Year Limited Warranty. At checkout you can add the optional Extended Warranty, which extends the same cover to 3 years. Both are provided by Aeterna Health Corp, doing business as JoyBend.

1-Year Limited Warranty

Who is covered: the original buyer of a product bought from JoyBend.

How long: 1 year from the date your order was delivered.

What is covered: defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, for example a strap that tears, stitching that comes apart, a fastener or hook-and-loop closure that stops holding, or a pad that comes loose.

What is not covered:

• normal wear, such as fading or lint in the hook-and-loop closure;
• damage from misuse, accidents, pets, heat, or washing or drying against the care instructions;
• products that have been altered or repaired by someone other than us;
• lost items, or damage in transit (this is covered by our Shipping Policy);
• whether a product helps your particular condition (this is covered by our 90-day money-back guarantee in our Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy).

What we will do: we send you a replacement of the same product free of charge, including shipping. If the product is no longer available, we send a comparable product or refund what you paid for the item. You don't need to send the faulty product back: a photo is enough.

Extended Warranty (optional add-on)

• Price: $1.99 per order, whatever the number of straps. It is optional and you can remove it at checkout.
• What it does: extends the 1-Year Limited Warranty above to 3 years from the delivery date, for every item in the same order. The same cover, exclusions and claim process apply.
• Who provides it: JoyBend. You make claims directly with us.
• Cancellation and refund: you can cancel the Extended Warranty at any time by emailing us. Within 90 days of delivery, we refund it in full. After that, we refund the unused part, in proportion to the months left in the 3-year term, minus the cost of any claims we have paid. If your order is refunded under our 90-day guarantee, the Extended Warranty is refunded too.
• Not transferable: it covers the original buyer only.

How to make a claim

1. Email help@joybend.com or call +1 (754) 242-6834 with your order number, a short description of the problem and a photo.
2. We reply within one business day (Monday to Friday) and confirm your replacement.
3. We ship your replacement within 1 to 2 business days, free of charge.

Your legal rights

Any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the length of this written warranty (1 year, or 3 years with the Extended Warranty). Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
